Davos is preparing for a new world “after the coronavirus”; Economies will be replaced by ad hoc financial policies
With a mixture of carrot and stick, the outdated national economy is to be replaced by a new “consensus-building”, namely stakeholder capitalism – at least if things go to plan for the World Economic Forum.
The founder of the WEF, Klaus Schwab, therefore repeats his mantra that one cannot return to a “pre-pandemic era”. We have entered a state of emergency that will last forever. It is reminiscent of what the famous German philosopher and lawyer Carl Schmitt (1888-1985) called a “state of emergency”, an emergency situation in which the law is suspended.
The economic system desired by Schwab is “stakeholder capitalism”.
